Privacy Policy

The Osiris applications, including Osiris Monitor and OsirisControl (collectively, the "Apps"), are operated by FreakShow HD, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information each App handles, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it in plain language.

The short version

• Osiris Monitor collects the minimum needed to sign you in and connect you to video streams you've been invited to.
• OsirisControl does not require an account and does not send personal information to our servers. It communicates directly with the operator's Osiris Mac over the local network.
• When you request an Osiris desktop license, we store the information you submit so our billing and licensing staff can fulfill and support the request.
• We do not use advertising, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your information.
• Osiris Monitor users can delete their account and associated data at any time, right inside the App.

Osiris Monitor information

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and verified email address so we can create and identify your account. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email option, Apple provides a private relay address instead.
• Authentication data. We store a secure login token on your device and on our server so you stay signed in.
• Stream access data. To deliver live video to you, we keep a record of which streams you've been invited to or joined, and basic connection information needed to route the stream.
• Invitation delivery. An Osiris operator may provide your email address to create and send a private viewing invitation. The operator also supplies their own production contact email for replies. Each invitation is sent separately and is locked to the invited account email.

Osiris desktop licensing information

• License requests. When you request a desktop license, we receive the name, email address, company, requested license term, optional notes, app version, and machine fingerprint shown in the request form.
• Billing and fulfillment records. We retain the request's payment and fulfillment status, which authorized staff member handled it, and the related audit history so we can coordinate delivery and provide support.
• Machine fingerprint. The fingerprint is a one-way hash derived from the Mac's hardware identifier. We use it to bind the requested license to that Mac and do not use it for advertising or cross-service tracking.
• Transactional email. We use Postmark to send request confirmations, staff notifications, sign-in links for authorized licensing personnel, and completed license delivery messages.

OsirisControl information

OsirisControl is an iPad companion for the Osiris macOS application. It does not require an account, use our cloud service, contain advertising, or include third-party analytics.

• Local-network discovery. The App uses Apple's local-network and Bonjour services to find an Osiris workstation on the same network.
• Direct control connection. Project names, routing state, transport state, and operator commands travel directly between the iPad and the paired Mac. This traffic is encrypted and is not routed through or stored on our servers.
• Local pairing information. A randomly generated device identifier and the trusted Mac's encrypted pairing credential are stored on the iPad so the App can reconnect securely. This information is not used for tracking or advertising.

You can remove the trusted pairing from within OsirisControl by choosing Forget This Mac. Deleting the App removes its remaining locally stored information.

Information we do not collect

• We do not record or store the video content you view. Live streams are encrypted and relayed in real time; they are not saved on our servers.
• We do not collect advertising identifiers and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
• We do not collect OsirisControl routing, transport, project, or pairing information on our servers.

How we use your information

• To create your account and sign you in.
• To connect you to the specific video streams you've been authorized to view.
• To process, coordinate, deliver, and support Osiris desktop license requests.
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How your information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the App — for example, our cloud hosting and database provider, and Postmark for transactional invitation and licensing email delivery — and only to the extent needed to provide the service. These providers are bound to protect your information. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App:

• Open Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm.

Deleting your account removes your name, email, login tokens, and your stream access records from our systems. This action cannot be undone. If you need help, contact us using the details below.

Desktop license requests are business transaction records and are not connected to an Osiris Monitor account. Contact us using the details below to request access to or deletion of licensing information, subject to records we must retain for billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections, and live video streams are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Osiris is a professional production tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Identity providers

Osiris Monitor offers Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google for authentication. Your use of either provider is also governed by that provider’s privacy policy. Apple and Google identities are kept as separate Osiris accounts unless a future explicit account-linking feature is provided. When you delete your Osiris Monitor account, we remove the account data described above from our systems. OsirisControl does not use these sign-in providers or create an account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
